For hundreds of years the rolling grasslands of Massingham Heath had captured the collective imagination, until much of it was ploughed up during the war to feed the nation. Rescued and restored to its former glory, it is once again a sea of rare wildflowers and scrub and forms nearly half the 2500-acre Massingham estate. In the middle of it is our wonderful barn which hosts parties, weddings, glamping groups and retreats. It is also hub for families and school groups to have fun and learn about this precious heathland ecosystem.
